Eurobike 2024 prize draw rules

ARTICLE 1 – DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION

Bontaz SAS, a company with share capital of 750,000 euros, is registered in the Annecy Trade and Companies Register under SIRET number 607 020 245 and has its registered office at ZI des Valignons in Marnaz (74460).

The company is organising a competition as part of the Eurobike trade show to promote the brand.

The competition is being developed and managed by Bontaz.

The present document is the rules of the competition. They may be supplemented and/or amended at any time during the competition by any additional clause, which shall come into force solely as a result of its online publication by Bontaz.

Bontaz is also referred to hereinafter as: “Bontaz Light Mobility, the Organiser, the Organising Company, the Organisers, the Professional”.

The “Participant” in the competition is also referred to hereinafter as “the Participant, the User, the Contributor, the Player”.

The “Winner” of the prize draw is also referred to hereinafter as “the Winner”.

 

ARTICLE 2 – CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

This game is open to all natural persons of legal age.

Within the limits of the means at its disposal, Bontaz will check that these criteria are met. If one of these criteria is not met, registration for the competition will not be validated.

Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the conditions of participation in accordance with the French Data Protection Act.

Only one entry per person is accepted for the duration of the competition.

The competition organised at the Roc d’Azur trade show is free and with no obligation to purchase. The competition can only be entered on the Bontaz Light Mobility stand using the digital form provided, and the draw will be made from among the registered participants. Entries on plain paper or in any other form are not permitted.

Access to the competition is forbidden to members of Bontaz staff.

 

ARTICLE 3 – COMPETITION DATES

Start date of the competition: 03 July 2024 at 9.00 am (nine o’clock in the morning)

End date of the competition: 07 July 2024 at 5 p.m. (5 p.m.)

Date of the draw: 08 July 2024

Date of designation of the Winner: 10 July 2024

 

 

 

 

ARTICLE 4 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

4.1) Conditions for submitting an application

To enter the prize draw and try to win the prize up for grabs in article 5, all participants must have carried out the actions mentioned below:

Visit the Bontaz Light Mobility stand (stand E01 – test zone F11)

Follow the detailed participation instructions on the digital form provided.

Fill in the digital entry form, without forgetting to validate it.

Registration for the prize draw is only effective once these steps have been completed.

Participation in the competition will only be valid if the information requested by Bontaz is complete and correct. Any entries made using incorrect or falsified information or via counterfeit or falsified forms will automatically forfeit any right to obtain any winning prize.

Each participant therefore undertakes to provide correct information. Bontaz declines all responsibility in the event that a participant uses false first names and/or surnames associated with a valid e-mail address, or even usurps the identity of a third party.

 

4.2) Guarantees and liability regarding the validity of applications

Bontaz reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify this operation if it is not carried out as agreed: any virus, bug, breach, unauthorised intervention, fraud, action by a competitor, technical problem or other cause beyond the control of Bontaz altering and affecting the administration, security, fairness, integrity or conduct.

In general, the Participants guarantee the Organisers of this competition against any recourse, action or claim that any third party may make, in any capacity whatsoever, in respect of all the guarantees and commitments made.

Any incomplete or erroneous entries will be rejected, without the Organiser being held liable.

All participants undertake to comply with the rules. Any failure by the Participant to comply with the rules and any fraud, abuse, cheating or misrepresentation will result in exclusion from the competition, without the Organiser being held liable.

Thus, the Organising Company reserves the unreserved right to moderate after the event and not to validate, or even to exclude or remove from the competition, any participant who does not comply with one of the conditions of these rules.

In addition, in the event of abuse or cheating by one or more participants, Bontaz reserves the right to modify or terminate the competition without prior notice, in particular if the integrity of the competition is called into question.

 

ARTICLE 5 – PRIZES

5.1) Commercial value of the prizes

The prize is offered by Bontaz and therefore constitutes a “prize”. The corresponding prize consists of 1 gift voucher worth €200 valid at Alltricks.

The Participant drawn at random will be designated the Winner by the competition managers. There will be only one winner.

Bontaz reserves the right to change the prize without prior notice. Should this be the case, the value of the prize will be equivalent to or greater than the product replaced.

 

5.2) Conditions of recovery, use and renewal

As stipulated in article 6, the Winner must contact the Organising Company of the competition directly and comply with the defined terms and conditions of use.

The exact date on which the prize will be sent will therefore be defined at a later date by the Professional and the Winner. The prize offered may not give rise to any dispute as to its nature or to the payment of any consideration whatsoever.

The object of the competition commits the Organiser to providing the Winner with a gift voucher worth €200.

 

ARTICLE 6 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AWARDING PRIZES

Only one prize will be awarded to any one individual.

Once the Winner has been designated by Bontaz, the company undertakes to contact him/her by e-mail or telephone.

All e-mail exchanges between the Organiser and the Winner will be stored in the Professional’s e-mail box.

The Winner will be invited by return e-mail to provide additional contact details (surname, first name, address, town, postcode, telephone number, e-mail address) for the cheque. The cheque will be sent by post to the address indicated.

If the information provided by the Participant is incomplete and/or does not allow him/her to be informed of his/her win, he/she will lose the status of Winner and will not be able to make any claim.

The Organiser may not be held liable in the event of technical faults relating to this electronic notification of winnings. If the Winner does not communicate this information within 10 days, he/she will lose his/her status as Winner.

 

ARTICLE 7 – NOMINATIVE AND PERSONAL DATA

By participating, Players authorise the Organisers in advance to use freely, for advertising or promotional purposes, in any medium whatsoever, all personal information provided on behalf of the Organisers.

The personal data collected about you is compulsory and necessary for processing your participation in the game. It is intended for use by the Organisers, or by subcontractors and/or service providers for management purposes.

In accordance with the regulations in force, the information collected is intended exclusively for the Organisers and will not be sold or transferred to third parties in any way whatsoever.

The information communicated by the Participant is intended for use by Bontaz in connection with access to its service in accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale and in connection with the management of this game.

Any person is deemed to have read, understood and accepted, without reservation, the rules in their entirety, and in particular the article relating to personal data, as soon as they access and register for the competition.

 

ARTICLE 8 – LIABILITY AND RIGHTS

The Organisers:

Reserve the right to modify, extend, shorten, limit the prizes or cancel this game in the event of force majeure as defined by case law. Consequently, they may not be held liable in this respect.

Shall not be held responsible for the fraudulent use of a Participant’s rights of connection or attribution of the prize.

Disclaim all liability in the event of malfunction of the Internet network, telephone lines or reception equipment preventing the game from running smoothly. In addition, they may not under any circumstances be held liable for problems with the delivery or loss of electronic or postal mail.

 

The Participants:

Are held responsible for the accuracy of the information sent to the Organiser.

ARTICLE 9 – EXCLUSION CONDITIONS

Participation in these games implies full and complete acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in these rules without any reservations or prior conditions on the part of the Participant. Failure to comply with these rules will result in exclusion from the competition and the pure and simple nullity of the Participant’s participation and the awarding of prizes.

 

ARTICLE 10 – FILING OF THE RULES

All documents are made available and accessible in French to all users and Participants for the duration of the game. Users and Participants are asked to make a backup copy and/or print out all the texts so that they can refer to them if necessary.

 

 

ARTICLE 11 – PARTICIPATION FEES

The game organised during Eurobike  is free and with no obligation to purchase.

 

ARTICLE 12 – COMPETENT COURTS

These rules are subject to French law.

In the event of any dispute or claim concerning the competition for any reason whatsoever, requests must be sent in writing to the attention of Bontaz by post to the address given in the preamble, during the competition and no later than sixty (60) days after the Winner has been named.

In the event of any dispute or claim concerning the prize awarded, requests must be made in writing to the attention of Bontaz Light Mobility – 242 avenue des Amaranches – 74460 Marnaz or by e-mail to contact@bontaz-light-mobility.com within seven (7) days of receiving confirmation of the prize.

The parties shall endeavour to resolve amicably any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these rules. If the disagreement persists, it will be submitted to the competent courts.

The Participant acknowledges having read these rules, accepting them unreservedly and complying with them.
